Julie Nightingale

Creator of Medium Hare and Hare-in Chief, Julie has been an editor and writer for national newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years, working on everything from The Guardian and Daily Mail to TV Quick, News Statesman and Bird Watching magazine, as well as for the BBC and ITV. She also lectures in journalism at Nottingham Trent University.

Dorothy Lepkowska

Multi-award winner Dot is one of the country’s leading education journalists. A former national newspaper correspondent, she is a regular Guardian contributor as well as editor of Make the Grade, a members’ magazine. In 2012 she won the CIPR Ted Wragg award for sustained contribution to education journalism.

Deborah Wain

A past winner of the Paul Foot award for investigative journalism, Deb now specialises in health. She wrote a series of articles for a Sunday Telegraph supplement exploring problems faced by people in later life, and has created an online soap highlighting health issues for teenagers. She also writes about the SME sector.

John Holt

Interviewer and feature writer John specialises in writing about heritage and cultural matters and his interviews with curators, museum directors and other specialists appear monthly in Museums Journal. His series of interviews for a Sunday Telegraph supplement included Prof Susan Greenfield, Tony Blackburn and Jeffrey Archer.

Liz Lightfoot

Liz is a regular contributor to the Sunday Times and Guardian as well as to specialist education press. She began her career in local newspapers and worked in Fleet Street for many years as an education correspondent for the Mail on Sunday and the Daily Telegraph.

Claire Suddaby

Claire has worked as chief sub-editor some of the country's best-selling magazines, including Radio Times and Slimming World, and for the Press Association. She also lectures on journalism in higher education and is a published novelist.

Nick Bannister

Journalist turned education PR and marketing specialist Nick worked in government communications for several years, dealing with ministers, policy experts and decision-makers at the highest level and liaising with national print and broadcast media. He has won the CIPR excellence award for his editorship of Ldr, a leadership magazine.

Stephanie Sparrow

Stephanie has a background in B2B (business-to-business) publishing and was an editor with Reed Business Information. She writes on education, training, food and lifestyle for national media, is an online careers agony aunt and won a Watson Wyatt Award for her journalism on training and HR issues.
